The Final Shape

The Eververse Store is a beacon of boundless wonder, run by the enigmatic Tess Everis, a merchant with a glimmer in her eye and an aura of timeless wisdom. More specifically, it's where Guardians can spend their hard-earned Silver or Bright Dust for dazzling cosmetics. The Store is in the Tower, to the right of the Postmaster. The Eververse Store is also accessible from the Director screen.

Currency

The Eververse Store uses two types of currency. One way to acquire random cosmetics is by simply playing the game to earn Bright Engrams. Players can buy cosmetics using the currency below.

  • Silver - An in-game currency acquired through platform-specific marketplaces, and exchanged for real-world money.
  • Bright Dust - Earned in-game by Pathfinder: Path Completion rewards, completing bounties, or finishing seasonal challenges.
  • Bright Engram - Earned through gameplay. Claim from the season pass every 10 ranks. Players receive a Bright Engram for every 500,000 XP earned after completing the season pass. Drops random cosmetics.

The Eververse Store

The Eververse Store has multiple tabs for different sections of cosmetics. Cosmetics come in a variety of items:

  • Ships
  • Sparrows/Skimmers
  • Ghost Shells
  • Armor and Weapon Ornaments
  • Finishers
  • Shaders
  • Ghost Projections
  • Emotes

The Featured tab displays Featured items bought with both Silver or Bright Dust. Weekly Offerings are items the player will most likely buy. Acquiring an ornament piece from a set typically prompts the store to offer that set in the Weekly Offerings at a discounted price. Players will always find Synthweave Templates here. This tab resets every Tuesday at Destiny 2's reset.

Vital Information

Below is some additional information players may need to know about Eververse Items. This is directly from Bungie's Help Forum and is subject to change.

  • Eververse Purchase History: Players can check their Destiny 2 Eververse Purchase History from their profile in the Destiny Companion on Bungie.net or the Mobile App. Please note: Transactions take a few minutes to appear. Silver add-on purchases made outside the game will only show up after the player logs back into Destiny 2.
  • Korean Region and IGRs: Players in the Korean Region or that are playing from a Korean IGR will have some minor differences in the purchase flow, inventory and availability of some Eververse Items.
  • Previewing Contents: Players can use the Preview Item option in Bright Engrams and other Eververse Items to preview the guaranteed and possible reward columns, the rewards contained in an item category, and the appearances, effects, or sounds of an individual item.
  • Item Recovery: Some items can only be acquired once, because they unlock access rights on the player's account. The items can be re-acquired or equipped from their associated Collection.
  • Seasonal Eververse Changes: Each new Season in Destiny 2 will feature a new Seasonal Bright Engram. Many items from a previous Seasonal Bright Engram will NOT be carried forward into the new Season’s Eververse offerings and may not be available again.
  • Exotic Weapon and Armor Ornaments: It is possible to receive Exotic Weapon Ornaments or an Exotic Armor Ornament when claiming a Bright Engram. These items will be placed in the Modifications sub-menu of their Character Inventory. Please note: Bright Engrams cannot grant players actual Exotic Weapons or Exotic Armor pieces.

Exotic Ornament Recovery: Players acquire an Exotic Ornament only once to unlock the Ornament slot. When performing the "Unlock" action on an Exotic Ornament in their Modifications sub-menu, the Exotic Ornament is then removed from their Inventory. It unlocks on the associated Exotic gear.

  • Decrypting Bright Engrams: The Cryptarch cannot decrypt Bright Engrams earned through gameplay. Players will need to visit an Eververse Trading Co. storefront to open their Bright Engrams.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The availability of items, features, or mechanics in Eververse Trading Co. are subject to change. The above information represents the current system.

Summary

The Eververse Store is the cosmetic store in Destiny 2. Players spend Bright Dust and Silver for Equipment, Emotes, Finishers, Shaders, and Ornaments. This store showcases the infinite creativity and boundless spirit of Destiny 2’s universe.
