Welcome to the Episode Breakdown: Echoes for all information regarding Echoes! Episodes have replaced Seasons in Destiny 2, and are the new way of delivering content and storytelling. They have 3 Acts each at 41 days long, bringing each Episode to 123 days total. With each new Act, we gain a new story, exotic mission, exotic weapon, and exotic armor.

Lore
Victory is ours — we have vanquished the Witness! In the wake of this monumental battle, the Traveler unleashed a curious phenomenon that has captivated the Vex, causing them to behave even more strangely than before. Join forces with our trusted ally, Failsafe, as we delve into the ever-changing landscape of Nessus. Uncover the planet's hidden secrets and unravel the mysteries that lie within its transforming terrain.
Arena: Breach Executable
In the Breach Executable activity, a fireteam of three explores Vex disruptions on the reawakening Nessus. The goal is to unveil enemy secrets and collect data essential for examining the changes occurring on Nessus.
- Gather data from powerful defeated enemies or by achieving activity goals.
- Deposit the collected data for extraction so Failsafe can research upgrades and provide the team with temporary enhancements during the activity.
- Break Vex monoliths with the Planetary Piston Hammer to find Crimson and Iridescent Radiolite, then take it back to the H.E.L.M. for Failsafe to analyze and for your rewards.
Rewards
Collaborate with Vanguard allies to earn Seasonal engrams, acquire powerful weapons and armor, and collect Radiolite samples. Players can gather these samples during Echoes activities and then exchange them at a Radiolite bay in the H.E.L.M. for extra rewards.
Additionally, Guardians can help Failsafe analyze collected specimens to unlock permanent upgrades in the H.E.L.M.'s Research Bay.

- Veiled Threat - A Stasis Auto Rifle with a Rapid-Fire Frame.

Season Pass
The Episode: Echoes Season Pass grants access to the Episode's storyline, activities, new gear, and the Premium Rewards Track. This track provides players with Season Rank rewards, in addition to those on the Free Track of the Season Pass. As each new Act is released, new stories, activities, and Rank rewards become available.
