This build centers around the Exotic arms Getaway Artist which consume your Storm Grenade to summon an Arc Soul that fires at targets in front of you. When combined with the Prismatic subclass and the Bleak Watcher Aspect, this setup also deploys a Stasis turret alongside your Arc Soul. Your second Aspect, Hellion, summons a Solar mortar that lobs projectiles Scorching targets. With three summons to shoot for you, this build provides amazing ad clear and crowd control capability.
The Prismatic subclass further enhances this Getaway Artist Warlock Build by providing access to Song of Flame, one of the highest-damage Warlock Supers, that offers 90% damage resistance and Scorching Rounds for your Kinetic and Solar weapons. Combine this with a 5% weapon damage bonus, more ability regeneration speed, and 20% damage resistance while in Transcendence and you're nearly unstoppable.
Become Amplified, or Scorch and Freeze targets to easily counter any Champion. This Getaway Artist Warlock Build fits into almost every situation, clears ads with ease, and is fun to play.

Gameplay Loop
The main focus of the Getaway Artist Prismatic Warlock is to keep your summons—Arc Soul, Bleak Watcher, and Hellion—active at all times. Prioritize Discipline and Recovery on your armor to reduce cooldowns for Storm Grenade and Phoenix Dive. The recommended armor mods and subclass fragments further reduce cooldowns and increase uptime of your summons.
- Start by consuming your Storm Grenade to become Amplified and summon an Arc Soul at your side. This simultaneously throws a Bleak Watcher turret in front of you to Freeze nearby enemies.
- Activate Phoenix Dive to heal yourself and nearby teammates while calling forth your third Solar summon, the Hellion Mortar.
- Facet of Balance accelerates the recharge of Arcane Needle through rapid kills with Arc Soul, while rapid kills with Arcane Needle recharges your Storm Grenade, enabling more Arc Souls.
- Facet of Purpose provides further survivability by granting Restoration whenever you pick up Orbs of Power.
- Cast Transcendence to take down tougher enemies. Use the Warlock's unique grenade, Freezing Singularity, to Weaken your target, applying a 15% debuff. When this Singularity implodes, it causes Suppression. Transcendence also accelerates the recharge of your Arcane Needle.

- Song of Flame
- This Super makes you Radiant, grants 90% damage resistance, and enables your Solar and Kinetic weapons to Scorch targets. Casting Song of Flame replaces your grenade and melee with supercharged Solar versions of these abilities. Use it to clear ads, damage the boss, or just stay alive!
Abilities
- Phoenix Dive - Jump in the air and activate your class ability. You and surrounding allies gain two stacks of Cure.
- Burst Glide - Your choice of jump ability is up to you, but the example setup uses Burst Glide.
- Arcane Needle - This melee ability gives you three charges and applies Unravel to enemy targets. It also counts as a Darkness Debuff for Facet of Courage.
- Storm Grenade - Getaway Artist requires consuming an Arc grenade ability and Storm Grenade is the only Arc grenade available to Prismatic Warlocks.
Aspects
- Bleak Watcher - Charge your Storm Grenade to convert it into a sentient Stasis turret, firing projectiles that apply Slow on impact. If enough of these projectiles land, the target is Frozen. Excellent for stunning Champions and providing a Darkness debuff.
- Hellion - Activate your Phoenix Dive to summon a Solar mortar that Scorches targets.
Fragments
- Facet of Dominance - Your Storm Grenade has a short enough cooldown to be used occasionally instead of consuming it for an Arc Soul, allowing you to Jolt targets. The Void aspect of your Prismatic Warlock grenade, Freezing Singularity, now Weakens targets when using this Fragment.
- Facet of Purpose - Collecting an Orb of Power grants you Restoration, providing continuous health regeneration. Casting Phoenix Dive collects nearby Orbs of Power through Powerful Attraction.
- Facet of Ruin - This build Freezes and applies Scorch, leading to Ignitions, so you can take full advantage of this fragment. Add the Artifact perk Solar Fulmination for even more Ignition damage!
- Facet of Command - The Bleak Watcher turret fires slowing projectiles at nearby targets until they Freeze. When you Freeze targets, this Aspect reloads your equipped weapons and generates Stasis Shards.
- Facet of Grace - Defeating enemies with Microcosm, or other Kinetic weapons, grants bonus Transcendence energy.
- Facet of Courage - This fragment is essential for this Getaway Artist Warlock Build. Both Arc Soul and Hellion Solar Mortar deal increased damage to targets affected by Unravel, triggered by your Arcane Needle.

Required Gear
Getaway Artist - Consume your Storm Grenade to create an Arc Soul and become Amplified. While Prismatic is equipped with the Bleak Watcher aspect, this also creates a sentient Stasis turret alongside your Arc summon.
How to acquire:
- Purchase from Xur if available.
- Decrypting exotic engrams at Rahool.
- Farm the expert lost sector on arms Armor days.
- Complete the Vex Strike Force Public Event on Neomuna.
WARNING: The Forsaken DLC Pack is required to unlock the Getaway Artist Exotic armor piece.
Stat Priorities
- Resilience > Recovery > Discipline
- In PvE, Resilience is the most crucial stat to focus on. Aim for 100 Resilience to maximize your damage resistance and shield capacity, ensuring better survivability in challenging encounters.
- Recovery governs the cooldown on the Warlocks class ability and decreases the time it takes to regenerate your health and shields.
- Discipline decreases the cooldown on your grenade ability, allowing it to charge faster.

Artifact Perks
- Elemental Siphon - This build centers on Kinetic weapons to accumulate Transcendence. Rapid final blows with these weapons create Firesprites, reducing your grenade cooldown.
- Radiant Orbs - This mod is useful for managing Barrier Champions, as it provides Radiant whenever you pick up an Orb.
- Shieldcrush - While you are Amplified or Radiant, Storm Grenade recharges faster and deals increased damage.
- Galvanic Armor - 30% damage resistance when Amplified.
- Shock and Awe - A brand new Artifact perk from Act III. When you are Amplified, after summoning your Arc Soul, any Arc final blow creates a burst of lightning that Jolts enemies.
- Solar Fulmination - Increases the damage and size of Ignitions created by your Hellion and Solar weapons.

Kinetic Weapon: The Mountaintop - This special grenade launcher packs a punch and can help clear ads while reducing your grenade cooldown with Demolitionist. Acquire The Mountaintop from Onslaught in the Vanguard playlist.
Energy Weapon: Aberrant Action - Double up on Special weapons with the brand-new Solar rocket sidearm. Acquire Aberrant Action from Failsafe at the H.E.L.M or in one of the Seasonal Activity playlists.
Power Weapon: Microcosm - The new Trace Rifle from The Final Shape is the first Kinetic Heavy Weapon and complements this Getaway Artist Warlock Build perfectly. Acquire Microcosm from Convalescence Quest after completing The Final Shape campaign.
Variants
Gear Swaps
- Equip the recommended Armor Mods you see on the right if you haven't masterworked your armor yet. These only require 4-5 energy and help with the Getaway Artist Warlock gameplay loop.
- Until you acquire Microcosm from the "Convalescence: Rootbound" quest, use a world drop Legendary Heavy weapon like Crux Termination IV or farm Edge Transit from the Onslaught activity in the Vanguard Playlist.
- Now that you have a Legendary Heavy weapon, swap your Kinetic weapon to an Exotic.
- Outbreak Perfected - Challenge yourself and complete the Zero Hour Exotic Quest from the Legends Destination. Outbreak is one of the best Kinetic Exotics in Destiny 2 because The Corruption Spreads perk causes SIVA nanites to swarm and help with ad clear.
Gear Swaps
- Swap The Mountaintop for a Kinetic Special Ammo weapon of your choice. For close encounters, opt for a Pinpoint Slug Frame Shotgun like Supercluster, and for ranged engagements choose Succession with Reconstruction.
- If you're concerned about ammo reserves, swap Aberrant Action for a Solar Primary with Incandescent.
- No Hesitation is excellent for healing your teammates.
- Nullify offers a powerful two-round burst. Acquired from Salvation's Edge Raid.
- Adhortative is another crafted Pulse Rifle option.
- Swap Microcosm to match your activity's Elemental Surge. Craft or farm for reload perks like Auto-Loading Holster and Reconstruction. Meta options include:
