Quest Rundown

The Side Quest has 12 objectives to complete.

1. Enter the Ominous Cellar - Head East and enter the cellar that opens after starting the Quest at Petr.
2. Speak with Sister Octavia - Move into the large room and interact with her. Sister Octavia's Prayer Book is added to your Quest inventory.
3. Speak with Priest Matvey - Use the waypoint to Margrave and interact with Priest Matvey. He provides the Silver Chalice.
4. Fill the chalice with Bandit blood - Enter the area marked on the map East of Margrave and kill bandits until the progression bar is filled.
5. Return to Priest Matvey - Teleport back to Margrave and approach Priest Matvey.
6. Place a piece of pyre wood in the chalice - Interact with the structure next to Priest Matvey to gather pyre wood.
7. Return to Kvera's home - Use the waypoint to Kyovashad and run back towards the Ominous Cellar.
   Speak with Petr - Petr stops you in your tracks at the door, interact with him.
8. Enter the Ominous Cellar - Head back into the cellar.
9. Rejoin Petr - Move into the large room.
   Begin the exorcism - After a few seconds of conversation, you can interact with the chalice on the ground. Do so to start the exorcism.
   Slay the carvers - Two waves of carvers spawn during this part, kill them all.
10. Continue the exorcism - Interact with the chalice again. You get interrupted by someone.
    Finish the exorcism - Interact with the chalice one last time.
11. Slay Demotath - The demon Demotath shows his face. Make sure he won't return when you are done with him!
12. Speak with Sister Octavia - Interact with Sister Octavia, who is lying in a bed.
    Meet Sister Octavia outside - Head out of the cellar and talk to Sister Octavia to finish the Quest. She takes a few seconds to get out there, show patience.
