1. Speak with Lyndon outside of Backwater
2. Speak with Lyndon
3. Go to the first ambush location
4. Enter the Secluded Clearing
5. Go the the first ambush location
6. Slay the drowned
7. Wait for the ambush
8. Go to the next ambush location
9. Enter the Quiet Clearing
10. Go to the second ambush location
11. Wait for the ambush
12. Speak with Lyndon
13. Go to the last ambush location
14. Enter the Isolated Shack
15. Go to the last ambush location
16. Wait for the ambush
17. Slay the ambush
18. Speak with Lyndon

Quest Rundown

1. Speak with Lyndon outside of Backwater - After speaking with Lyndon inside Backwater, go just northwest outside of town to speak to him again.
2. Speak with Lyndon - Lyndon follows you outside of town. Speak with him again.
3. Go to the first ambush location - Travel a bit southwest to a location marked on the map.
4. Enter the Secluded Clearing - Enter the Secluded Clearing that appears at that location.
5. Go to the first ambush location - Go deeper into the Seclude Clearing. At the end of the path, there is a clearing.
6. Slay the Drowned - Kill the Drowned monsters that spawn in the clearing.
7. Wait for the ambush - Sit in the clearing for about 15 seconds.
8. Go to the next ambush location - Exit the Secluded Clearing and travel a bit northwest to the next location marked on the map.
9. Enter the Quiet Clearing - Enter the Quiet Clearing that appears at that location.
10. Go to the second ambush location - Go deeper into the Quiet Clearing. At the end of the path, there is a clearing.
11. Wait for the ambush - Sit in the clearing for about 15 seconds.
12. Speak with Lyndon - Speak with Lyndon.
13. Go to the last ambush location - Exit the Quiet Clearing and travel a bit west to the next location marked on the map.
14. Enter the Isolated Shack - Enter the Isolated Shack that appears at that location.
15. Go to the last ambush location - Enter the open area.
16. Wait for the ambush - Sit in the clearing for about 10 seconds.
17. Slay the ambush - Kill the Bandits that enter the clearing.
18. Speak with Lyndon - Talk to Lyndon. This completes the quest and will automatically begin the Dead to Rights side quest.
