Wave 1 of BlizzCon Tickets on Sale July 8th, 10am PDT
With wave 1 of BlizzCon tickets going on sale in only a few hours, we wanted to give a quick run down of what to do and expect.
When is BlizzCon?
Got to know when BlizzCon is taking place first before committing to going. The event is happening November 3rd & 4th (Friday & Saturday).
Where is BlizzCon?
BlizzCon will be taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center.
What are the Ticket Costs?
This year is a little different from past years. There are two ticket options to choose from - General Admission and Portal Pass.
General Admission tickets will be a good choice for the vast majority of people attending the event. As a veteran of 7 BlizzCon events, choose wisely. Hotel prices in the area can range from just under $200 a night to almost $400 USD! Even if you and 1 to 3 friends are packing a room like sardines, it can still be a large part of your trip.
How to Purchase Tickets?
AXS is the official ticket vendor for BlizzCon this year. There is a more restrictive ticket limit of only 2 per purchase this year as well, plan accordingly!
Further Tips
- Make an account BEFORE tickets go on sale. Don't wait until you're halfway through the ticket process to make an AXS account. Create it before they go on sale.
- Be on the site 15 minutes prior to tickets going on sale. This lets you verify you are logged in and ready to go.
- F5 till you get in the queue. You will need to refresh the page until you are able to join the queue, once you are in don't leave!
- Gather friends! Just like games, more people can make or break your chances. Gather friends that are likely to go and spam F5 together. Just remember the 2 ticket limit!
- Can (most likely) transfer tickets after purchase. AXS's terms and conditions make it clear and pretty easy to transfer tickets after purchase. Blizzard could have additional terms, however, so read up and make sure all is good prior to purchasing.
Go luck when wave 1 of BlizzCon tickets going on sale!
