Mid-Season Update Campfire Chat Wrap-Up

Vessel of Hatred expansion and Season 6 are live for more than a month now. It's now time to think about the Mid-Season update for Season 6: Season of Hatred Rising! Blizzard just finished the Mid-Season 6 Update Campfire Chat!

2.1 Patch PTR Announcement

• Blizzard announced the Mid-Season 6 Update coming with the 2.1 Patch.
• The 2.1 Patch Notes will be available on November 15th and will release on November 19th.
• Another Campfire Chat is scheduled for next week to talk about the Season 7 PTR that will open in a few weeks.

Class Balance

Spiritborn Reception

• Spiritborn Class has been very well received by the Diablo community.
• Blizzard does not want to be the police of fun, there is no Spiritborn nerf planned until Season 7.
• As a result, others classes will be buffed to achieve better class balance.

Barbarian

• Core Skills are buffed:
  • Upheaval : Damage increased from 100% to 120%.
  • Hammer of the Ancients : Damage increased from 55% to 70%.
  • Double Swing : Damage increased from 50% to 60%.
  • Rend : Bleeding damage increased from 105% to 120%.
• Buffs to underperforming Uniques and Legendaries.

Druid

• Buffs to all Key Passives
  • Lupine Ferocity
    Critical Strike damage increased from 70% to 100%.
    Bonus damage to Injured enemies increased from 140% to 200%.
  • One With Nature
    Companion bonus damage increased from 60% to 80%.
• Buffs to underperforming Uniques and Legendaries.

Necromancer

• Buffs for all Basic Skills
  • Decompose
    Damage increased from 33% to 60%.
    Essence gain per second increased from 10-13% and now scales with Attack Speed bonuses.
• Passive Buffs
  • Evulsion
    Your Bone Skills deal 6% increased damage to Vulnerable enemies.
• Buffs to some Uniques Items
  • The Mortacrux
    Chance to spawn a Skeletal Simulacrum increased from 10-30% to 20-40%.
  • Howl from Below
    Corpse Explosion damage increased from 30-50% to 50-90%.

Rogue

• Buffs to Core Skills
  • Penetrating Shot : Damage increased from 70% to 95%.
  • Flurry damage increased from 130% to 150%.
• Buffs to Key Passives
  • Victimize
    Damage scaling increased from 120% to 150% of Vulnerable Damage bonus.
  • Precision
    Damage scaling increased from 15% to 20% of Critical Strike Damage bonus.

Sorcerer

• Combustion and Avalanche Key Passives are receiving buffs.
• Buffs to some Legendary Aspects (Piercing Cold...).

Spiritborn

• Spiritborn is also receiving small buffs to underperforming skills:
  • Razor Wings
  • Withering Fist
  • Toxic Skin

General

• There will be Runeword Buffs and lowered Offering costs.
  • Moni : Offering increased from 25 to 35.
  • Ahu : Offering increased from 10 to 25.
  • Ceh : Wolf Spirits are now always unhindered.
• Shrine Updates
  • Artillery, Blast Wave and Conduit Shrines now deal more damage and scale with player level and paragon level.

Mid-Season Update Content

• The Red Cloaked Horrow is coming back in this update!
• Blizzard want to incentivize people coming back to Diablo 4 by bringing back Mother's Blessing experience bonus as well as introducing some kind of "Welcome Back" buff to reward players with gear for instance.
