How to Get Hex Coins Early in BitCraft

Demo

Last Updated:June 21, 2025|Changelog

Hex Coins are the game's main trading currency. With so many Professions available in BitCraft, it can be very difficult for an average player to level up all of them to max level. But at some point, you need to use materials crafted from other Professions to progress. The only options here are relying on a group of friends or buying them from others using the Marketplace in Settlements.

Selling basic refined materials using your main Profession is an option, but it doesn't yield much profit simply because of the high supply. This guide teaches you a method to earn Hex Coins reliably with the help of specific Traveler Tasks with the lowest barrier of entry.

Traveler Tasks

Check the Tasks

Traveler Tasks are requests for materials from each of the Travelers. By delivering the materials to them, you get Skill Experience and plenty of Hex Coins. You can check the currently available Tasks using the "Traveler Tasks" icon at the bottom right of your screen. These Tasks refresh every 4 hours.

Many of these tasks might require materials that are difficult to acquire in the early game. For example, the request from the Traveler Ramparte in the image above requires you to slay a Jakyl. This is difficult at the start of the game, especially if you don't have help from others. For now, the most efficient thing to do as a solo player is skip these difficult tasks and focus on easier ones.

Rough Plank and Rough Timber are two materials frequently requested by the Travelers. Compared to most other requests, these two materials are from the same production cycle and are easy to craft. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to craft and stockpile a large quantity of Rough Planks and Rough Timbers. Check the Traveler Tasks window frequently and deliver these products to the Travelers once they request them for easy Hex Coins and Skill Experience.

Unlock Cart

To maximize efficiency with this method, you should first follow the Main Quest until you get your cart. This allows you to gather and move a large quantity of the required materials at the same time.

Step 7 - Rough Timber

As the final step, craft one Rough Timber using 20 Rough Planks.

Check Marketplace

Once you have a decent amount of Hex Coins, always check whether the items requested by Travellers can be purchased at a low price in the marketplace. Buy the materials and complete the task if the reward exceeds the amount you invested to obtain them.

Other easy Traveler Tasks

Travelers might request some of the items listed below, which are more difficult to obtain than Rough Plank and Rough Timber, but can still be crafted with a bit more effort.

  • Rough Leather - Crafting process explained in Leatherworking Guide.
  • Roasted Meat - Hunt Sagi Birds and cook their meat.
  • Mushroom Skewers - Gather and cook mushrooms.

Summary

  • Completing Traveler Tasks provides early-game income, but some requests require hard-to-get materials. Refreshing tasks every 4 hours increases earning opportunities.
  • Rough Planks and Rough Timber are frequently requested materials that are easy to craft. Stockpiling them ensures steady Hex Coin income and Skill Experience.
  • Following a structured crafting cycle with efficient material gathering maximizes profit. Obtaining a cart first helps to streamline the process.
