Event Quests for the Week of May 13th
From May 13th to May 20th, the "Ballet in the Rain" and "Sand-Scarred Soul" Event Quests and the "The Shining Storm Rages" Free Challenge Quest will be available. None of these quests are new, this is the last week of Arch-Tempered Rey Dau. You must be at least Hunter Rank 50 to attempt all 3 quests
Ballet in the Rain
In "Ballet in the Rain" you are assigned to hunt a Tempered Lala Barina in the Scarlet Forest. You receive weapon decorations in addition to the normal rewards.. While this is not likely a better farm than lower level two monster quests, it could be a nice break if you need to change things up. You must be Hunter Rank 21 or higher to attempt this quest. It is available from May 13th to May 20th.
Sand-Scarred Soul
"Sand-Scarred Soul" assigns you to hunt a Doshaguma in the Windward Plains. You get armor decorations along with the usual rewards.. Once again, this is probably not a better farm than two monster quests, but could be a good change of pace. You must be Hunter Rank 9 or higher to attempt this quest. You must be Hunter Rank 21 or higher to attempt this quest.
The Shining Storm Rages
Continuing from last week, "The Shining Storm Rages" has you hunting Arch Tempered Rey Dau in the Windward Plains. Since this is a free challenge quest, you can choose your own gear and loadout, unlike normal challenge quests. Complete the quest to obtain 2 special Cosmic Pendants, and earn a third if you achieve an A rank time. The pendants will be distributed at a later date. You will also be rewarded with tickets to smith the Rey Dau γ set. The set is made up of the following pieces: Rey Sandhelm γ, Rey Sandmail γ, Rey Sandbraces γ, Rey Sandcoil γ, and Rey Sandgreaves γ. The set is quite strong, with the final skills being Weakness Exploit 1, Maximum Might 3, Stamina Surge 3, Latent Power 5, Evade Extender 2, and Stun Resistance 3. The Armor has 3 level 3 deco slots, and 1 level 1 deco slot. This quest began May 6th and will end May 20th. You must be Hunter Rank 50 or higher to attempt it.
