Pirate Coin and Sea Coin Sources

Pirate Coins and High Seas Coin are extremely important to collect. They have various uses, including Ship Upgrades, Honing Materials, Enlisting Ship Crew, Island Tokens, Giant's Hearts, and Masterpieces. This guide will detail the various sources from which you can acquire these coins.

Island Quests

Many Island quests reward Pirate Coins. Check out our Island Tool to find out which islands you should visit first.

Una's Tasks

Some Una's Tasks can award a considerable amount of Pirate Coins. To find out which ones, open the Una's Tasks window (Alt + J) and filter for Pirate Coins as rewards. Make sure to also check the various reputations vailable!

Procyon's Compass

Some of the Islands that spawn during Procyon's Compass can grant you High Seas Coin Chest and Pirate Coins.

Exchange Merchants

At each continent's port, you can exchange High Seas Coin for Pirate Coins at Tea and Libra Guild Vessels at a ratio of 1:20.

Procyon's Compass

Some of the Islands that spawn during Procyon's Compass can grant you High Seas Coin Chest and Pirate Coins.

Voyage Co-operative Missions

Each evening, Voyage Co-operation Missions reward around 300 - 400 High Seas Coins, without factoring in the Gienah's Key or Procyon's Key drops, depending on the region the mission takes place in. You can then use those keys to open the chests that spawn at the end of the Voyage Co-operation Missions.

Voyage Co-operative Mission Schedule

Co-operative Missions occur every day at three specific times near specific regions, and usually consist of multiple chained events. The first Co-operative Mission that rewards High Seas Coins typically starts near the port of a city. Check the in game calendar for “Ocean Co-op:...” to find the starting time and location of each event!
