Mantle of Battle Harmony Prismatic Warlock Build
Last Updated:October 10, 2024|Changelog
Welcome to the Mantle of Battle Harmony Prismatic Warlock Build Guide! This build emphasizes rapidly charging Song of Flame and Transcendence to maximize ability uptime and effectiveness. Additionally, when your Super is full, you gain a substantial damage boost to both Aberrant Action and Dragon's Breath, turning them into formidable tools in your arsenal.
Mantle of Battle Harmony offers two powerful effects based on your Super's charge state. When Song of Flame is not fully charged, final blows with Solar weapons grant bonus Super energy. The amount regenerated varies by enemy rank: 1.5% for rank-and-file enemies and 4.5% for majors and bosses, with no cooldown between kills. However, when your Super is fully charged, Solar weapon kills grant a 25% weapon damage buff for 11 seconds to those same weapons. This dual-purpose nature is what makes this Exotic chest piece so versatile and effective.
But this Battle Harmony Warlock build isn't just about weapon damage, it also has excellent up time on abilities along with amazing survivability. Feed the Void grants access to Devour, providing one of the best self-healing effects in the game while also quickly regenerating grenades. Facet of Balance provides great ability regeneration for your Arcane Needle and Vortex Grenade by rapidly defeating targets from weapons or abilities. Vortex Grenade adds further utility, by applying Weaken with Facet of Dominance. Finally, Weaver's Call provides another source of Darkness damage to charge Transcendence quickly.
WARNING: The Prismatic subclass requires The Final Shape DLC to unlock. The Mantle of Battle Harmony Exotic chest piece requires the Beyond Light DLC to unlock and Dragon's Breath requires the Lightfall DLC to unlock.

Gameplay Loop
The aim of the Mantle of Battle Harmony Prismatic Warlock build is to charge your Super and Transcendence as quickly as possible. The secondary focus is keeping your abilities charged, Weakening and Unraveling targets at all times.
- Activate Devour by scoring a kill with your Vortex Grenade or Arcane Needle. Devour heals you to full on each kill, returns grenade ability energy, and fuels Facet of Sacrifice for Dark Transcendence energy.
- Utilize Arcane Needle to spread Unravel for crowd control and to apply consistent damage.
- Phoenix Dive to heal yourself and your allies. Additionally, this class ability spawns three Threadlings with Weaver's Call to seek out and defeat targets with Darkness damage, which helps charge Transcendence.
- Defeat enemies with Aberrant Action and Dragon's Breath to charge Song of Flame, spawn Orbs of Power, and keep Devour up time. The Incandescent perk on your sidearm and Composite Propellant from the Rocket Launcher provide excellent ad clear with large, high damage Ignitions.
- Throw your Vortex Grenade at elite enemies to Weaken them with Facet of Dominance.
- When Song of Flame is fully charged, resist the urge to activate it immediately. Holding onto your Super ability extends the 25% increased Solar weapon damage buff from Mantle of Battle Harmony.
- Activate Transcendence on cooldown to enhance all weapon damage by 5%, instantly recharge your grenade and melee abilities, and gain 20% damage resistance. Alternating between Light and Dark abilities while Transcendent extends its duration. The Warlock's transcendent grenade applies Weaken, Slow, and Suppress, providing multiple layers of crowd control to dominate the battlefield.
- Activate Song of Flame during boss damage phases or any time you need a high rate of ad clear. Your next one charges up quickly with every Solar weapon final blow.
Ability Breakdown
Super
- Song of Flame
- This Super makes you Radiant, providing a 25% increase in weapon damage, 90% damage resistance, and allowing your Solar and Kinetic weapons to Scorch targets. Casting Song of Flame replaces your grenade and melee with supercharged Solar versions of these abilities.
Abilities
- Phoenix Dive - Surrounding allies gain 2 stacks of Cure.
- Burst Glide - Your jump ability is up to you, but the example setup uses Burst Glide.
- Arcane Needle - This melee ability gives you 3 charges. Use to activate Devour and apply Unravel to enemies.
- Vortex Grenade - This is one of the strongest grenades in the game because it pulls enemies toward its center and lingers on the battlefield. It becomes even more potent in this build when paired with Facet of Dominance, which applies a 15% Weaken debuff to enemies caught in its effect.
Aspects
- Feed the Void - This fragment activates Devour on any ability kill, providing a powerful self-heal and serving as a key method for regenerating grenade energy. While Devour is active, each kill fully restores your health and grants a portion of grenade energy, enabling rapid ability cycling and increased survivability.
- Weaver's Call - Darkness kills are crucial for building Transcendence, and this aspect helps automate that process. Phoenix Dive now provides Light energy when you heal allies, and generates Darkness energy when your Threadlings secure kills.
Fragments
- Facet of Sacrifice - While Devour or Restoration is active, ability final blows grant Darkness Transcendence energy.
- Facet of Balance - Quickly defeating enemies with any source of Light damage grants melee energy, allowing you to maintain a high rate of ability use. With three charges of Arcane Needle, you can consistently apply Unravel, a potent Darkness debuff that spreads across packs of enemies.
- Facet of Courage - Your Light abilities deal more damage to targets afflicted with Unravel, Slow or Freeze. Hit a boss with Arcane Needle before activating Song of Flame for 10% increased damage.
- Facet of Dominance - Your Vortex Grenade applies a 15% Weaken debuff to enemies.
- Facet of Grace - While the focus of this build is on maximizing the potential of Solar weapons, Kinetic weapons also play a crucial role in rapidly charging Transcendence. Accelerate the charge rate of Transcendence even further with this fragment and provide additional energy to you and nearby allies when you defeat enemies with your Super. Battle Scar with Shoot to Loot allows you to pick up ammo and Orbs of Power with Kinetic Tremors.

Summary
The Mantle of Battle Harmony Prismatic Warlock build focuses on harnessing the dual benefits of the Exotic armor Mantle of Battle Harmony to boost both Super regeneration and weapon damage output. When your Super, Song of Flame, is not fully charged, Solar weapon kills regenerate Super energy rapidly, allowing you to unleash powerful abilities more frequently. Once the Super is fully charged, Solar weapon kills grant a substantial 25% damage buff, enhancing the lethality of weapons like Aberrant Action and Dragon's Breath. This combination creates a build that excels in both sustained damage output and Super uptime, making it highly versatile for various content.
This build also offers excellent survivability and ability uptime, making it a well-rounded choice for Warlocks. The Feed the Void Aspect grants Devour, providing rapid health regeneration and grenade recharge with each defeated enemy. Facet of Balance further boosts ability regeneration, ensuring consistent use of powerful abilities like Arcane Needle and Vortex Grenade. The grenade becomes even more effective with Facet of Dominance, applying a Weaken debuff to enemies for added crowd control. Additionally, Weaver's Call generates additional Darkness damage to quickly recharge Transcendence. Together, these elements make this build a powerful, flexible choice for both solo and team-based activities.
