2. Report your findings to Elder Lau
3. Search the Pyres for Brecht's corpse

Quest Rundown

1. Speak with the other Elders - After speaking with Elder Lau, speak to Elder Geza-dali, Elder Oranii, and Elder Akos in Wejinhani. You must talk to all of them.
2. Report your findings to Elder Lau - Go back to Elder Lau and speak with him again.
3. Search the Pyres for Brecht's Corpse - Go north just outside of town to the right area marked on the map and click the Corpse in front of the 3rd Pyre on the far right. Pick up Brecht's Journal.
4. Speak with Elder Lau - Talk to Elder Lau who appears in front of you after picking up Brecht's Journal.
5. Retrieve Aldara's Amulet from Light's Refuge
   • Travel to the northwest part of the Dismal Foothills and enter the Light's Refuge dungeon.
   • Complete the dungeon's mechanical box objective and go left in the new area you unlock.
   • There you will find Aldara. Kill her.
   • Pick up the Aldara's Amulet that drops.
6. Speak with Elder Lau - Exit the dungeon and travel due south to the western part of Dismal Foothills to speak with Elder Lau.
7. Place the amulet on the altar - Click the "Place Amulet" indicator on the table in front of Elder Lau.
8. Speak with Elder Lau - Talk to Elder Lau again. This completes the quest.
