The early access for Path of Exile 2 is coming on November 15th, 2024! You return to Wraeclast to explore, fight over 100 new bosses, and experience the new combat. Path of Exile 2 has an immersive 6 Act campaign, 12 playable classes, and hundreds of skills you can use to customize your own build.

So far, we don't know much about Path of Exile 2 ahead of the early access period. We've had tantailizing teasers from ExileCon 2023, and as part of the recent league announcements. Most of these teasers focused on revealing classes like the Monk, Mercenary, or Ranger.
Path of Exile 2 skills are made to be combined, with small fast attacks setting up for slower heavier ones. This combines with WASD movement and animation driven skills to create a more visceral and immersive combat experience. While many of the skills you use are similar to their Path of Exile counterparts, the goal is for combat to feel completely different. This more methodical combat is unsurprising as Path of Exile 2 draws inspiration from Dark Souls. It's going to be interesting to see this in practice during the early access period!
