Warning: This guide assumes you know how to farm Harvest, and Eldritch Altars

The Harvest farming strategy scales large amount of increased modifier effect to greatly increase the Quantiy, Rarity and Pack Size on your maps. Eldritch altars are used, focusing on the modifiers increasing the Map Quanity and Rarity in combination with Amplified Artefacts to cause the rare harvest monsters to drop a large number of scarabs as well as any lifeforce.

Horned Scarab of Awakening in combination with Crop Rotation allows you to generate plots with a huge number of Tier 3 or even 4 seeds resulting in a massive amount of Lifeforce.

  • Harvest Content drops Lifeforce and Sacred Blossom.

Requirements

  • Harvest requires a build with an abundance of damage or strong defenses due to the powerful rare monsters it can summon. Explode and proliferation are great for Harvest, but you'll have to wait for all the seeds to spawn.
Voidstones: 4
Favourites: N/A
Atlas Points: 127

Set-Up

PRO TIP: When setting up to run this strategy it is recommended that you purchase enough materials to complete a sizeable set of maps, failing to do this makes selling your drops far more difficult and you'll constantly be trading to purchase additional materials.

Map Choice

  • Tier 16 8 mod Jungle Valley Map - Due to this being a high investment strategy it is important to use 8 modded maps for the highest amount of Quanity and Pack Size. This makes the strategy extremely difficult.
  • A good alternative to 8 Mod Jungle Valley Map is a regular 6 mod Jungle Valley with Maven's Chisels applied granting an additional 20% Pack Size.

Map Device

  • Eldritch Influence - Eater of Worlds. Make sure to clear the map and spawn as many Eldritch Altars as possible before running the Harvest.

Fragments

Optimal Fragments
Harvest Scarab of Doubling
Horned Scarab of Awakening
Scarab of Monstrous Lineage
Influencing Scarab of Hordes

Atlas Passive Tree

Legion Atlas Passive Tree

Harvest cause the plots to have higher tier seeds, drop more lifeforce and can ensure you see the more valuable colored plot more frequently. In this case Yellow, if during the League either Blue or Purple become more expensive, make sure to adjust the passives.

Eldritch Altars provide a constant flow of currency items.

Amplified Artefacts, Remarkable Relics and Skittering Swarms are the scarab engine that will cause rare monsters to have a much higher chance of dropping scarabs.

The difficulty of these maps comes from adding a ton of modifier effect via Mounting Modifiers and Chiselled Perfection and all of the Small Nodes.

NOTE: Scarab nodes that reduce or enhance which type of Scarabs drop canbe altered based on the market.

Gameplay

Crop Rotation

Crop Rotation is a slight mini game. Every time you complete a plot of seeds you have a large chance to upgrade other seeds of a different colour. This combined with the additional 50% chance to not wilt an adjacent plot allows you to create multiple plots of Tier 3 and 4 seeds.

For the purpose of this example, assume that Vivid Crystallised Lifeforce > Wild Crystallised Lifeforce > Primal Crystallised Lifeforce.

  • Start by assessing the number of plots and the distribution of colours. Look for plots that you can leave until the end with atleast 1 Yellow plot.
  • If you have a low number of Blue plots; complete them first to bolster all the other plots.
  • If you have an equal number of Yellow and Purple plots at this point check which has produced the most Tier 3 seeds up to this point by looking at the plots.
  • As mentioned, for this example Yellow > Purple. If you have a much higher number of Tier 3 seeds in purple plots, replace Purple with Yellow in the next step.
  • Complete Purple plots whilst making sure to leave a couple of Yellow plots to "cash in" on as at this point your Yellow plots have received the most upgrades.
  • Bare in mind you can "gamble" that you do not wilt adjacent plots to go for even more upgrades on your Purple and Yellow plots in this example.
