Crop Rotation Harvest
The Crop Rotation Harvest Strategy is a high-investment farming method that rewards careful planning with enormous amounts of Harvest Lifeforce and Harvest Bosses. Harvest scales directly with Quantity and Pack Size, making this strategy particularly effective when paired with fully juiced Tier 16 maps, Eldritch Altars and optimized Scarabs.
Set-Up
When setting up to run this strategy, it is recommended that you purchase enough materials to complete a sizable batch of maps. Failing to do this makes selling your drops far more difficult, as you frequently need to interrupt farming to trade for additional supplies.
Map Choice
- Tier 16, 8-Mod Jungle Valley Map -
- As a high-investment strategy, it's crucial to use 8-mod maps to maximize Quantity and Pack Size. However, this also significantly increases the difficulty of the encounters.
Map Device
- Kirac Modifier - Awakened Harvest.
- Influence - Eater of Worlds. Make sure to clear the map and spawn as many Eldritch Altars as possible before running the Harvest.
Fragments
- Harvest Scarab of Doubling
- Horned Scarab of Awakening
- Scarab of Monstrous Lineage
- Influencing Scarab of Hordes
- Cartography Scarab of Risk
- Warning: Avoid this scarab if your build is vulnerable to specific map mods, it can waste your investment. Use a Mortal Fragment instead for safe bonus Quantity
Atlas Passive Tree
NOTE: Scarab nodes that reduce or enhance which type of Scarabs drop can be altered based on the market.
Gameplay
Crop Rotation
Crop Rotation Harvest is a small mini-game where completing a plot of seeds gives you a chance to upgrade plots of a different colour. Executing the right sequence significantly increases the amount of Lifeforce dropped.
With the Heart of the Grove Atlas Passive and the Horned Scarab of Awakening, adjacent plots have a 60% chance to avoid wilting. This increased chance is what enables you to funnel multiple upgrades into plots of different colours, significantly boosting your Lifeforce yield.
In this strategy example, assume that the Lifeforce are prioritzed in the following order. Vivid Crystallised Lifeforce > Wild Crystallised Lifeforce > Primal Crystallised Lifeforce.
- Start by assessing the number of plots and the distribution of colours. Aim to leave at least one Yellow plot unharvested until the end so it can receive as many upgrades as possible.
- If you have a low number of Blue plots, start by harvesting those. Blue plots are the most common and often act as feeders to upgrade others.
- If you have an equal number of Yellow and Purple plots at this point, analyze which has produced the most Tier 3 seeds up to this point by looking at the plots.
- Although Yellow is the priority in this example, if your Purple plots already have significantly more Tier 3 seeds than Yellow, consider switching your focus to maximize returns.
- Complete Purple plots whilst making sure to leave a couple of Yellow plots to "cash in" on, as at this point your Yellow plots have received the most upgrades.
- Bear in mind you can "gamble" that you do not wilt adjacent plots to go for even more upgrades on your Purple and Yellow plots in this example.
Loot Breakdown
These are the key drops you should focus on selling with this strategy. If you're having trouble selling league-specific loot, refer to the loot section of our Harvest Guide for detailed tips on how to list and trade efficiently.
All the profits from Harvest come from the following 4 items:
- Primal Crystallised Lifeforce
- Vivid Crystallised Lifeforce
- Wild Crystallised Lifeforce
- Sacred Blossom (Rare)
Aim to farm large quantities of Lifeforce and sell them in bulk for Divine Orbs to get the best value. Bulk trading usually yields significantly better rates than selling small stacks.
FAQ

There are a few key factors that increase the difficulty of this strategy:
- The challenge of these maps comes from stacking a high number of modifiers through Mounting Modifiers, Chiselled Perfection, and all relevant Small Atlas Nodes.
- When combined with 8-mod maps, this significantly increases the strength of map modifiers. For example, a map with 60% Less Recovery can become No Recovery with enough modifier effect scaling.
- When selecting the Quantity and Rarity options on Eater of World altars they always include a dangerous downside. Be aware - some options can completely brick your character. Avoid any options that would make the map unplayable for your build.
Harvest scales amazingly with both Quantity and Pack Size.
- Pack Size: Increases the number of monsters that spawn from each seed on a Harvest plot.
- Quantity of Items Found: Increases the amount of Lifeforce dropped by Harvest monsters.
