Introduced in the "Calm Before the Storm" update on August 14th, Chaos Purification rewards you for completing Chaos Dungeons, at specific milestones. The aim of this system is to reduce the fatigue induced on players by the feeling that you must complete your Chaos Dungeons daily, so as to not miss out on valuable rewards as Tier 4 rapidly approaches.

Reward Structure

Every Chaos Dungeon run you complete grants you 50 Purification Points, with rewards being granted at 100, 200, and 300. Rest Bonus does not affect the amount of points you receive. Here are the rewards from this system:

Important: The material chests are provided by an event that lasts from August 14th to September 25th. Only Chaos Dungeon brackets relevant to current player progression are presented, even though this system is enabled below these brackets as well.

Rest Bonus Efficiency

This system removes the Honor Shard and Silver rewards from Chaos Dungeon runs, and packs them into chests awarded after completing specific amounts of Chaos Dungeon runs.

For dilligent players that do their runs on a daily basis, this does not change anything. However, for those who make use of the Rest Bonus system, this can sometimes leave a decent amount of rewards on the table, even though maintaining the same schedule as before grants more materials than without the Purification system.

Case I

As the first table depicts, doing a three-week rotation that always makes use of Rest Bonus will have you complete 3 Chaos Dungeons in one week, and only 2 Chaos Dungeons in the remaining two weeks. This means the reward for 300 Purification points will remain unclaimed twice per cycle.

Case II

In order to maximize gains while still making uses of Rest Bonus, you would have to adjust to a rotation with 2 Rested Chaos Dungeons and 1 Unrested Chaos Dungeon every week. This ensures you can claim all rewards from the Purification system without being forced to complete Chaos Dungeon every single day.

Case III

Similar to Case II, this method incorporates the same rotation of 2 Rested Chaos Dungeons and 1 Unrested Chaos Dungeon every week, but it uses the first 4 days of the week to accumulate Rest Bonus and spends it on the weekend, in order to best accommodate a busy schedule.

Feel free to follow either of the presented methods, or adjust your own rotation to best fit your playstyle and work-life balance! The only requirement to take advantage of both the Rest Bonus and Purification systems is to fit at least 2 Rested Chaos Dungeons and 1 Unrested Chaos Dungeon every week.

Alternatively, depending on your goals and availability, you can maintain your current Chaos Dungeon pacing and just take the additional rewards that come with that.
