Ignition Code returns from Season of the Splicer, now with a powerful Origin Trait. Get it by using Enriching Tonics and completing Revenant's Episodic Activities.
Ignition Code uniquely features Slideshot on its God Roll, which allows it to be a best in class Disorienting Grenade utility Weapon.

Slideshot's cooldown is low enough to let you fire multiple times in a single Slide. This sets it apart from the slightly slower Slideways Perk, which is available on similar options. This makes the Ignition Code God Roll narrowly the best Disorienting Grenades candidate.
Disorienting Grenades come with a 25% damage penalty, which makes it rather hard to kill things with this Weapon. High Ground procs fairly often and provides a 25% damage boost, cancelling out the penalty and leaving you with mediocre as opposed to awful damage output.
Sliding isn't always feasible and Ignition Code lacks Perks that allow it to passively reload itself, so the Splicer Surge Origin Trait and a Reload Masterwork are there as backups.
Comparable Weapons

The Mountaintop, the infamous Rocket Jumping Micro-Missile Frame Grenade Launcher from the Vanguard Onslaught Playlist, revolves around damage-dealing rather than Crowd Control. Its God Roll of Auto-Loading Holster and Frenzy lets you easily deal massive chunks of damage. You should go get this if you expect your Special Weapon to kill things.
