Prismatic Stoicism Titan Build

Revenant

Last Updated:October 14, 2024|Changelog

This Prismatic Stoicism Titan Build has an addicting flow as it roasts mobs to dust. Using the Stoicism exotic class item gives you the ability to use many different armor combinations like the roll of Spirit of Inmost Light and Synthoceps.

Being able to flow between Consecration waves and using your Transcendence all the time is incredibly fun and effective at the same time. The fragments of this build like Facet of Courage plus darkness debuffs from your Glacier Grenade make for some crazy damage numbers that must be talked about. Lets break down this build!

The exotic item for this build is Stoicism. This was introduced in the Duel Destiny mission after the Final Shape and has a random roll on every item. For my this build our roll uses the Spirit of Inmost Light and Spirit of Synthoceps. This gives us a boost to our melee damage while surrounded while also getting a boost to all your abilities after activation!

Prismatic Stoicism Titan Build

Pros
  • Great Ad Clear
  • Consistent Debuffs on Targets
  • High Recharge and Uptime for Transcendence
Cons
  • Average Boss Damage
  • Very dependent on keeping energy up

Gameplay Loop

Now how are you going to keep up this crazy Transcendence energy and melee damage? First lets talk about what Titans do best with Knockout. A great way to keep up health, melee damage, become Amplified, and regenerate melee energy. The powered melee we're using is Frenzied Blade because it's strong as is but also has 3 charges available. Unfortunately this has over a 2 and half minute cooldown, but since you're consistently keeping your Transcendence up it's not an issue. The bulk of your damage will be from Consecration since it constantly creates Ignition to do big area damage.

Your weapons are going to be a key part of keeping your Transcendence energy up. Using Bold Endings as your primary is great because it will feed into your darkness transcendence bar while also being just a good damage option this episode. I'm a big fan of Aberrant Action for its ability to nuke areas while also filling up the light side of your Transcendence bar. When it comes to your heavy weapon this is all up to you. Always a good options is Dragon's Breath for its high ignitions and boss damage.

Ability Breakdown

Super

  • Twilight Arsenal
    • This is the new Void super for Titan and wow is it good. Not only does it do a massive amount of damage per axe throw, but you also Weaken targets on each hit. That means the 2nd and 3rd throws result in more damage. Combine that with the new artifact mod Expanding Abyss you see crazy damage numbers. Also, a big reason you choose this is so you can gain a void Overshield because of your fragment Facet of Purpose.

Abilities

  • Rally Barricade- Perfect for defense and taunting surrounding enemies.
  • Strafe Lift, Jump of your choice!
  • Frenzied Blade- Having 3 melee charges available on an already strong melee is always a plus.
  • Glacier Grenade- a great way to apply darkness debuffs while also taking enemies out of the fight.

Aspects

  • Knockout- The perfect aspect for a melee build. Adds melee range, damage, recharge, health regeneration, and makes you Amplified.
  • Consecration- Having 3 charges of this with Frenzied Blade is so nice plus you get consistent use when using Transecendence.

Remember to melee even when you're out of energy. Knockout will help refill those melee charges.

Fragments

  • Facet of Protection- A great way to keep up damage reduction especially with your artifact mod Galvanic Armor.
  • Facet of Ruin- Great for keeping up high AoE damage when combining Consecration and Glacial Grenade.
  • Facet of Purpose- Big fan of this since you can keep up Overshield from picking up Orbs of Power.
  • Facet of Courage- Your Consecration and Knockout punch do more damage to darkness debuffed targets.
  • Facet of Hope- A great way to keep up rally barricade energy.

Gearing

Required Gear and Weapons

Stoicism

How to acquire:

  • Find in the Duel Destiny mission after completing The Final Shape Campaign.
  • Requires Final Shape Campaign.
  • Can be found in random chest throughout the Pale heart.
  • Each roll is random so the one used in this build is not guaranteed on first attempt.
  • You can attune exotic perks at Ghost in the Pale Heart to get a higher chance of your ideal roll.
  • We recommend attuning Spirit of Inmost Light since it benefits the build the most.
  • Other rolls outside of Spirit of Synthoceps would be Spirit of Contact or Spirit of the Armamentarium.

Stat Priorities

  • Resilience > Discipline > Recovery.
  • Resilience is the amount of damage you can take before dying, as well as your shield capacity.
  • Discipline is what reduces your grenade cooldown.
  • Recovery is how long it takes for your health to regenerate after you take damage.

Artifact Mods

  • Since this build is very up close and personal you'll be able to finish targets more often. Mods like Total Carnage are big for adding to damage resistance while in the thick of it.
  • Since you're finishing targets more often you might as well use Debilitating Wave to continue the damage with a powerful wave.

Recommend Weapons

  • Kinetic Weapon: Bold Endings - Great weapon to take advantage of Stasis Crystals and effectively increase your darkness transcendence bar.
  • Energy Weapon: Aberrant Action - Rocket Sidearms are incredibly meta right now and Aberrant is perfect for this setup.
  • Power Weapon: Dragon's Breath - Great for overall boss damage and getting ignitions off.

Summary

This Prismatic Stoicism Titan Build is perfect for those who missed using abilities constantly with Titan. High damage available through Transcendence is great for clearing waves of ads in modes like Onslaught and Dungeons. Taking advantage of the double special meta as well because of high ability uptime is always nice too. This build can absolutely carry you throughout the Legend campaign and your day to day content.
