Prismatic Abeyant Leap Titan Build

Revenant

Last Updated:October 10, 2024|Changelog

This Prismatic Abeyant Leap Titan build is something I've been theorycrafting since the new subclass was announced. Seeing Drengr's Lash and Diamond Lance available to use got me thinking about an awesome "lockdown" style build. Then when I saw everything with the Khvostov 7G-0X I knew this build was something I had to try. Locking down enemies with Suspend and Freeze has been an incredible time, especially when paired with Transcendence.

The Exotic for this setup is the Abeyant Leap. Whenever you activate Drengr's Lash, 3 different suspend ripples will aggressively track enemies taking them out of the fight. This alone is a good effect, but whenever you suspend targets you also get Woven Mail. Now with Prismatic this is huge since you'll be adding another damage reduction type to yourself.

Pros
  • Great Ad Clear
  • Consistent Debuffs on Targets
  • High Recharge and Uptime for Transcendence
Cons
  • Average Boss Damage
  • Have to Sit Back In Most FIghts

Gameplay Loop

The gameplay loop is pretty simple since the Khvostov 7G-0X is your main weapon for ad clear. First off Suspend targets using your improved Drengr's Lash. This not only makes it easier to take them down, but also helps feeding into your fragments. You now have Diamond Lance laying around to freeze targets and inflict Shatter at nearby enemies. Make sure to keep using your Shield Throw to gain Overshield for defense. Finally, your Suppressor Grenade will be valuable to slow down targets and Weaken them for more damage.

Now all of that is the basic loop, but don't forget about Transcendence. All of your fragments help fill this up faster, giving you very high uptime on it. Your Khvostov as well will feed into your Transcendence bar with the fragment Facet of Grace. It get to a point where you'd blink and your Transcendence bar is already refilled because of how we have the subclass setup.

Ability Breakdown

Super

  • Twilight Arsenal

  • This is the new Void super for Titan and wow is it good. Not only does it do a massive amount of damage per axe throw, but you also Weaken targets on each hit. That means the 2nd and 3rd throw will result in more damage. Combine that with the new artifact mod Expanding Abyss, and you will see crazy damage numbers. Also a big reason we choose this is so we can gain a void Overshield because of our fragment Facet of Purpose.

Abilities

  • Rally Barricade - This is the only choice if you're using the Abeyant Leap legs.
  • Strafe Lift - Jump of your choice!
  • Shield Throw - This was chosen since the build is medium range and you won't be in melee most of the time. This way you also have an easy way to activate Void Overshield.
  • Suppressor Grenade - Personally I've slept on this because just adding Suppression didn't seem that great. However, combined with Facet of Dominance, this lets you Weaken enemies.

Aspects

  • Drengr's Lash - This is a must when using the Abeyant Leap legs. Having more aggressive Suspend ripples is really nice for this medium range build.
  • Diamond Lance - Being able to throw these Stasis lances around to freeze and shatter targets is an absolute blast. The fact that it also can freeze entire groups is nice when using the Khvostov.

Remember to sit behind your barricade to boost the stats of your current weapon.

Fragments

  • Facet of Grace - This is a big one when using the Khvostov 7G-0X, since it fills up your Transcendence bar even faster.
  • Facet of Solitude - An easy way to inflict darkness debuffs like Sever.
  • Facet of Hope - You have consistent ways to activate Overshield and Radiant so that barricade recharges quite fast.
  • Facet of Dominance - As mentioned above, this is a great way to inflict Suppression and Weaken on targets.
  • Facet of Sacrifice - Since we'll always have Solar and Void buff on ourselves, this helps increase the darkness side of our Transcendence bar.
  • Facet of Purpose - Keeping that consistent Void Overshield is great for overall health and survivability.

Gearing

Required Gear and Weapons

Abeyant Leap

How to acquire:

  • Purchase from Xur (his loot rotates weekly).
  • Decrypting exotic engrams at Rahool (it will be a random exotic drop, but will prioritize exotics you currently do not have, known as the knockout system).
  • Farm Exotic leg Armor engrams on their respective day.
  • This assumes you've purchased Lightfall.
  • Available as drop from Vex Strike Force.

Stat Priorities

  • Resilience > Discipline > Recovery.
  • Resilience is the amount of damage you can take before dying, as well as your shield capacity.
  • Discipline is what reduces your grenade cooldown.
  • Recovery is how long it takes for your health to regenerate after you take damage.

Artifact Mods

For the artifact this Act we have a couple of things that really help the flow of this build.

First off, Elemental Siphon is great for consistently getting us Void Breach to help feed our overall cooldowns.

Next in the 4th column Void Hegemony and Radiant Orbs will give us more overshields and make us Radiant for more weapon damage. Also it allows us to stun Champion Foes with our Khvostov.

In the 5th Column Shieldcrush will give us more melee and grenade energy since we always have Void Overshields and radiant available. Lastly, Expanding Abyss is perfect for increasing the damage of your edge transit after using your Weaken grenade.

Recommend Weapons

  • Kinetic Weapon: Khvostov 7G-0X - I can't express enough how good this weapon is. It not only has good damage on its own, but it's ricocheting shots will clear enemies like nothing. Also every time you pickup an orb of power you enhance those ricocheting shots for more damage.
  • Energy Weapon: Wilderflight - Grenade launchers are very important this season so this is a perfect option.
  • Power Weapon: Edge Transit - Perfect damage option especially when using Expanding Abyss this Act.

Variants

Non-Khvostov

Gear Swaps

  • Swap Khvostov 7G-0X for Lost Signal
    • A great option to apply weaken with the new artifact this season.
    • How to acquire: Echos 1 from Fail-Safe or decrypting Echos Engrams.
  • Swap Wilderflight for Graviton Lance.
    • This is a great weapon to use because of it's big AoE damage and ability to synergize with the prismatic abilites.
    • How to acquire: Base game weapon.

Armor Mod Swaps

  • Swap Kinetic Weapon Surge for Void Weapon Surge.
    • This will give your Graviton Lance a big boost in damage.
  • Swap Kinetic Siphon for Void Siphon.
    • This takes advantage of the void damage you'll be doing with Graviton Lance.

Summary

This Prismatic Abeyant Leap Titan Build is one of my favorites in a long time. The Khvostov being so versatile and having so many ways to slow down targets means it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Using your Transcendence non-stop is also a huge plus, since it simply overcharges an already insane build.
