Diablo 2: Resurrected Alpha Test PSA
With excitement for Diablo 2: Resurrected filling the hearts of nostalgic gamers, many are eager to jump into the promised upcoming alpha test. However, it must be noted that Blizzard has not yet given out any keys, and any third parties claiming to have keys to giveaway are not legitimate.
In fact, in recent years, Blizzard has moved away from giving out keys altogether, and instead flags battle.net accounts for direct access. Currently, the only way to have a chance to participate in an upcoming Diablo 2: Resurrected alpha test is to opt-in via the official website.
Here is Blizzard’s official word on the matter:
Note: There is currently no Alpha or Beta testing for Diablo II: Resurrected. Pre-purchasing Diablo II: Resurrected does not grant Alpha or Beta access.
Blizzard has confirmed that there will be an initial singleplayer alpha test followed by a later multiplayer alpha. No release dates have been given, but Blizzard suggested that the first alpha will be relatively soon. Diablo 2: Resurrected is slated for release by the end of the year.
