The 5 Legendary items of your choice have a significantly increased drop rate, making this event a great time to farm for Eternity.
- The Legendary Vision effect applies to Blueprints as well as full items.
- Every 24 hours, the Vision effect expires and you'll need to select 5 items again.
The "Legendary Vision" event is a small experiment we're conducting towards the end of the season. This event is designed to specifically increase the output quantity of certain Legendary Gear, with the hope that it will improve the Hunters' experience in acquiring Legendary Gear to some extent.
If the event is well-received and Hunters approve, we may consider reopening it at an appropriate time in the future. We welcome Hunters to provide feedback on their experience after the event goes live, to help us improve the experience of subsequent events.
The Impact
Other ARPGs like Path of Exile and Diablo 4 offer players ways to target farm Unique / Legendary items. This has been notably lacking in Torchlight Infinite. Some items drop off of bosses, or have a corresponding Memory Fragment giving players a clear path to obtaining them. But most don't. This event gives Hunters a welcome chance to target farm many of the strongest Legendary items in Torchlight Infinite.
While this has a huge impact on the economy, it should be inherently self-balancing. If everyone decides to just pick the 5 most expensive items, the supply increases. Anyone who wants one will be able to purchase it, causing the price to decline as demand dries up. So overall this should have a net positive effect on the economy while allowing Hunters to obtain the items they need for their builds, but only time will tell.
