Growing Breeze Iris Leveling Guide
Last Updated:October 24, 2024|Changelog
Welcome to the Iris leveling guide. She is a Summoner Hero that specializes in Empowering Spirit Magi. By placing a Spirit Magus Skill in an Active Skill Slot you can activate it every few seconds to grant your Spirit Magi Nourishment stacks which increase their damage significantly. Hero Traits such as Amazing Friends allow you to unlock the full potential of Spirit Magi by unlocking their Ultimate ability at the cost of -1 Maximum Spirit Magi Quantity and Socialite lets you build a larger army by increasing that number by 1 instead. If you are new to Minions playstyle check out our Minions Mechanics Guide.
The leveling guide is intended to take your character to Timemark 7.
You can respec your character for free until level 90.
Be sure to check the final section of the guide for recommendations on how to transition into the Endgame!

Treasure Troves
Treasure Troves are a way to super-charge your leveling experience. They give vastly more experience than regular zones and yield exclusive Legendary items. You need to complete each of them once for a Talent Point. For an easier leveling experience repeat the Treasure Trove until you're 8-10 levels above the zone, then rush through the next few areas. Follow your side quest to find the Treasure Trove locations.
Keep an eye out for the following Legendary items as you clear Treasure Troves.
- New Ear Hills (L7): Look out for Rock Lizard's Skull.
- Nectar Valley (L16): Look out for Desire of Survival(embed).
- Dawn Avenue (L27): Look out for Omniscient Prototype and Lonesome.
- Sanctuary of Solitude (L35): Look out for Interlocking Soul.
- Silver Sands' End (L44): Look out for Omniscient Prototype and Lonesome.
- Hall of Grandiosity (L54): Look out for Call of Souls, Omniscient Prototype and Lonesome.
Every Treasure Trove has a small chance to drop Lonesome which boosts you damage significantly if you equip only 1 ring and Omniscient Prototype which provides around 120 Energy allowing you to equip additional Support Skills.
Leveling Tips and Tricks
- Your first active skill slot (top left in the Skills menu) is your "Main Skill," this matters because many items and Hero Traits have effects that only apply to the Main Skill.
- If you're ever in doubt of where to go, click the campaign quest on the left of your screen and a golden path shows you the way.
- This guide assumes you get most of your levels through Treasure Troves and rush to the objectives in other zones for maximum efficiency.
- When allocating Pact Points, prioritize Resistances first, then select Damage nodes until you fill the section. If you have leftover points, put them into Drop nodes as you begin farming the Netherrealm.
- Complete Path of Progression to unlock additional Talent Points.
- All support gems become available from the Skill Shop at level 55. At this stage cross reference with the embeds to make sure you're set up for the Netherrealm.
- In Chapter 3 gear you find comes with varying amounts of Energy, after changing your gear, be sure to go to the Energy Menu under Skills to reassign missing Energy.

- Use Dazzling Bloom to teleport your Minions to your target location and to buff their damage for a short duration.
- Elemental Shock increases elemental damage dealt by your Minions.
- Nourishment of Life grants your Spirit Magi stacks of Growth.
- For every 100 stacks of Growth your Spirit Magi have, they reach a higher Stage which empowers their abilities.

Talents
God of Machines
This is your core Talent Tree where you put your first 24 points before moving onto Alchemist. Return here later to allocate additional points.
Alchemist
Allocate 32 points in Alchemist. Source lets you use more Auras by reducing Sealed Mana for Spirit Magi Skills. Battle Trumpet increases the chance for the Spirit Magi to use Enhanced Skill.
Warlock
Finally, allocate 32 points in Warlock. This tree provides good amount of damage and Cooldown Recovery and +1 to Max Charges for all Skills. Indifference and Legendary Medium Talent provide +Levels to All Skill which is Huge damage boost. Off The Beaten Track sets mana multiplier for Support Skills at 95% and increases their level by 4.
There are tons of different Talent Trees to explore, if you want to learn more about this robust system check out our Talent Tree Guide.
Traits and Memories
Hero Traits
Level 45: Struggle Free increases the Sealed Mana Compensation for Spirit Magi by 100% allowing you to fit additional Auras.
Level 60: Socialite increases Maximum Spirit Magus Quantity by 1 which allows you to summon a total amount of 3 Spirit Magi. As a small penalty it increases the chance that Spirit Magus is going to lose a stack of Nourishment when it uses a Skill.
Level 75: Grow With It makes scaling Spirit Magi with Skill Levels even more powerful by reducing the chance that they lose a stack of Nourishment when they use a Skill. On top of that it makes your gameplay much smoother by auto casting your Hero Trait for you.
Hero Memories
Look for any combination of the following stats on your Hero Memories;
Base Affix | Random Affix |
% Minion Damage | + to Hero Trait Level |
+ Dexterity/Intelligence | % Minion Damage |
% Movement Speed | % Movement Speed |
% Minion Attack Speed | % Minion Attack Speed |

The Netherrealm
Racing through your Netherrealm quests as quickly as possible results in you becoming under leveled for the required zones to progress further, stay within 3 levels of the zones you're completing to avoid a harsh experience penalty. Check out our How to Progress the Netherrealm if you're unsure of anything.
Here's a list of things to do while progressing through the early stages of the Netherrealm;
- Level 60, The Trade House is unlocked. Be sure to read and understand our Trade House for Beginners Guide before making any big purchases.
- Higher item levels of gear come with higher quantities of Energy. Look to improve your current gear with items that have increased Energy so that you can use more Support Skills.
