A basic attack in front of the Watcher dealing Physical and Fire damage. It is telegraphed by a brief pause in which the watcher raises his sword over his head. Avoid this attack by not standing in front of the boss.
Three Fire Arrows, in a cone shape, fired 3 times in front of the Watcher for Fire damage. They are telegraphed by a brief pause, followed by bringing his swords together to resemble a bow. Avoid them by side stepping in a rotation for all 3 casts, or by staying behind the Watcher.
The Watcher leaps into the air and slams the ground in front of him dealing Physical and Fire damage. It is telegraphed by a brief pause, in which the watcher winds up his swords and swings them to his sides. Avoid it by side stepping or staying behind the boss.
The Watcher dashes forward causing Physical and Fire damage. It is telegraphed by a pause, and an animation wind up. Avoid it by side stepping or using a movement skill to get behind or to the side of the Watcher before he dashes.
Patrolling Fire Embers
The Watcher spawns 3-5 Fire Embers that patrol the arena and deal massive Fire damage. They are telegraphed by the Watcher stopping in place and spawning Fire Embers In front of him. Avoid them by predicting their path and side stepping as needed.
The Watcher generates an arena-wide beam and then begins to spin in a counterclockwise rotation. If touched, it causes high Fire damage. This move is combined with Patrolling Fire Embers. Avoid the beam by moving in close to the boss and then rotating counterclockwise while keeping an eye on all the patrolling embers.
Border Fire Pools
At 66% and 33% the Watcher spawns Fire Pools around the border of the arena. At 66% they spawn at the farthest points, and at 33% they appear closer to the inner arena. They are telegraphed by the boss going immune and running to the center of the arena. Avoid contact with these pools as they cause high Fire damage.
Blistering Lava Watcher Mechanics
This fight is split into 2 Phases: The Boss Phase and the Intermission Phase, each repeating multiple times.
It is highly recommended to have maxed out Fire Resistance before attempting this boss.
The Blistering Lava Watcher randomly rotates through his skills (Basic Attack, Fire Arrows, Leap Attack, Dash Attack). Once he reaches 66% and 33%, he goes Immune and flies to the center of the arena to start the Intermission Phase
The boss moves to the center of the room and becomes immune. During this time, he creates several puddles of lava around the room constricting your movement.
After the transition phase the Blistering Lava Watcher always uses Patrolling Fire Embers spawning 3 embers(66% health) or 5 embers (33% health), then begins to channel his rotating Fire Turret. The turret spins around the arena in a counterclockwise direction. Once he finishes, he returns to using his phase 1 skills (Basic Attack, Fire Arrows, Leap Attack, Dash Attack) randomly.
