Path of Exile 2 Early Access Delayed
The Early Access for Path of Exile 2 has been delayed from November 15th to December 6th. GGG needs more time to prepare their account system and infrastructure so you can use your PoE 1 MTX in PoE 2. Read more from their announcement below.
Early Access Delay
Unfortunately we have some bad news. We have to delay Early Access for 3 weeks. The new date is the 6th of December.
We're really sorry about this one. People plan time off and things like that around our launches, but we just had to do it.
So what happened? It turns out that it isn't the game itself that we are behind on, it's a bunch of server side infrastructure work that has taken us a lot longer than we expected.
One of the key promises we made is that all your microtransactions will work across both Path of Exile 1 and 2. In order to do that, we have to integrate the account systems for not only Path of Exile 1 and 2, but also for the console realms as well.
We have to get everything perfect so that nobody loses anything they paid for, and nobody has their account broken.
So with that in mind, we have decided to delay.
We are going to be having a livestream talking all about the content you can expect in Path of Exile 2's Early Access in about 4 weeks. You can think of it like the biggest league announcement we have ever done. We're really looking forward to telling you all about the endgame content that the team has been working hard on.
Until then though, thanks for your support.
PoE 2 Livestream Soon
Everyone here at Maxroll is just as eager as you are for more Path of Exile 2 news! We can't wait for the livestream on November 21, and plan to release broad coverage of it (including updates to several of our PoE 2 posts) as soon as we have news! So with that said stay tuned for future updates.
