Crucible League is Not Going Core

Trial of the Ancestors 3.22

Last Updated:August 3, 2023

Crucible League is not going core, but Grinding Gear Games admits they enjoyed the player creativity that came from it.

Gone For Now

While Crucible isn't going core, some of the nodes, or maybe the concept of weapon trees may return in the future.

We loved watching everyone develop their Crucible trees to create unique builds utilising all the different Crucible skills available, so all your items with Crucible trees will move with you to Standard. However, the "Totems Explode on Death" Crucible Skill will likely be adjusted when that happens. ~ GGG Community Team

The Community Team also confirmed Geodes, Remnants, and Magmatic Ore will be deleted when the league ends, so if you want to do some last minute crucible crafting it's now or never!

A Look Back

If you want to see some of the awesomeness Crucible provided, check out our Meta Reports, which highlighted many of the unique interactions enabled by Crucible trees. Or if you're looking for one last hurrah, consider one of the following builds. A few will probably stick around, but others like Explodey Totem end with the league (at least for now)!
