Golden Seed Locations

Golden Seeds are key to increasing the number of flask uses you have while progressing through your Elden Ring journey. They are an upgrade material that is primarily found next to golden branches of the Erdtree, and used after resting at a site of grace. However, there's a few extra ways to obtain them too.

As you create your character, you choose from a variety of keepsakes. A Golden Seed is amongst those options and is a safe pick for any player starting out. You also obtain them after specific enemy encounters throughout the lands between.

Limgrave

• On the path between the Storm Gate to the Stormhill Shack. [Map link]
• In the Stormhill Shack where Roderika was sitting if the player rests at any Site of Grace in Liurnia of the Lakes, or by completing Roderika's Task.
• In East Limgrave, near Fort Haight. [Map link]
• On the ledge overlooking Castle Morne in the Weeping Peninsula. [Map link]
• Obtainable by defeating Kenneth Haight. (Warning: This affects other NPC questlines by doing so) [Map Link]
• Defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit in Fringefolk Hero's Grave (Images Below) [Map link]

Stormveil Castle

• Located on the path to Godrick the Grafted near the end of the Castle. [Map link]
• Defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit in a hidden underground area. This is accessed by going in the room with Living Jar enemies and finding hidden path above the door, or by dropping outside the Liftside Chamber Site of Grace. [Map Link]

Liurnia Of The Lakes

• Sitting in the middle of Liurna's sunken town below Raya Lucaria. [Map link]
• In the north-western part of the courtyard, past the Debate Parlor Site of Grace. [Map Link]
• Head down the steps from the Manor Upper Level Site of Grace. [Map link]
• At the end of the broken bridge just outside the lift up to the Academy of Raya Lucaria. [Map Link]
• Deep in the northern ravine, surrounded by giant Land Squirts. (Images Below) [Map Link]

Caelid

• Head along the path just outside of the Bestial Sanctum. [Map link]
• Up the stairs near the large door in Sellia. [Map link]
• Travel near the road to Redmane Castle, south of where it splits near the Nomadic Merchant. [Map link]
• Defeat the Putrid Tree Spirit in the War-Dead Catacombs accessed through Radahn's arena. (Images Below) [Map link]

Altus Plateau

• Head down the western side leading toward the Abandoned Coffins and exit to the Ruin-Strewn Precipice Dungeon. [Map Link]
• In the foggy woods next to a Minor Erdtree, east of a broken great bridge. [Map link]
• On the side of the road when headed North from the Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace. [Map link]
• In the ravine to the south of a burnt up Minor Erdtree. [Map Link]
• Near the northern entrance to the Capital Outskirts guarded by multiple trebuchets. Head southeast from the Windmill Village Site of Grace to reach the location of this seed. (Images Below) [Map link]

Mt. Gelmir

• At the far north of the mountain past a summit with a Fallingstar Beast, on the path down towards the Volcano Manor. [Map link]

Siofra River

• Located below the lift leading up to Caelid near the castle structure along the northern side of the River. [Map Link]

Leyndell, Royal Capital

• Defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit directly South of the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace. [Map link]
• Near the Gargoyle Boss under the tree along the ramparts. (It's also located in the same spot when you reach Leyndell, Ashen Capital) [Map link]
• Defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit just North of Lower Capital Church Site of Grace. [Map Link]
• Two are located on the southwestern edge of the Capital Outskirts. [Map link]
• Two are located in the center of the courtyard. (Image Below) [Map link]

Mountaintops Of The Giants

• Right past a Black Blade Kindred on your path through the Mountain. [Map link]
• Among the large frozen corpses, head across a large chain leading to the southeast. [Map link]
• Next to a frozen river, guarded by a giant Golem. [Map Link]
• Near a frozen river to the west of Ordina, the Liturgical Town leading to Miquella's Haligtree. [Map link]
• Defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit in the Giant's Mountaintop Catacombs. [Map link]
• Located in the secret Consecrated Snowfield region. Ride west from the Consecrated Snowfield Catacombs to find a large tree with the seed. (Image Below) [Map Link]

Crumbling Farum Azula

• On the roof of a Dragon Temple accessed by an Imp Seal barrier. Defeat the skeletal beastmen guarding the tree. [Map link]
• Located where Stormhawks reside to the left of a Farum dragon guarding the entrance to the great bridge. (Images Below) [Map link]

Mohgwyn Palace

• Located next to the huge birds in the middle of the blood lake. [Map link]
• Go behind the structure that holds a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone. Drop below to some rocks, a corpse is hanging on one of them with the seed. (Images Below) [Map Link]

Ainsel River

• Defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit found in the Lake of Rot's temple. [Map Link]
• Located in the north part of Nokstella, Eternal City. Start from the Site of Grace and head up the stairs, make your way through the building climbing towards the peak until you find the area in image (2), jump down and take the lift to the tree. (Images Below) [Map Link]

Miquella's Haligtree

• Defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit in a pond of rot near the Drainage Channel Site of Grace. From the Drainage Channel Grace, head out the western exit and up the ladder. Continue on the path and then turn southwest towards the pond of rot. (Images Below) [Map Link]
