Chroma Rush is a Kinetic Auto Rifle introduced in Season of the Splicer, then reprised in Episode: Revenant, Act 1. You can obtain it through Seasonal Activities or Revenant Engrams. This fan-favorite Auto Rifle is an excellent workhorse to add to your collection.

Most Kinetic Primary Weapons need increased damage from their perks to feel good in endgame content, and the Chroma Rush God Roll is no exception. It rolls with a few to choose from, but best in slot is Kinetic Tremors. This perk adds a shockwave of damage after scoring multiple direct hits with this weapon. Pair it with Subsistence in the third column to continue shooting as you get kills. The Origin Trait, Splicer Surge, provides an excellent stacking Reload Speed and Handling bonus, allowing you to focus on Range with Hammer-Forged Rifling and a Range Masterwork. Flared Magwell adds even more Reload Speed and a bit of Stability, but Accurized Rounds is always a good pick too for even more Range.
Comparable Weapons
You won't find another Rapid-Fire Frame Auto Rifle with Kinetic Tremors, but these comparable weapons put in work with their own perks.
Veiled Threat is a Stasis Auto Rifle from Episode: Echoes. It can roll with the perk combination of Threat Detector and Headstone for ad clear similar to Chroma Rush. Or you can slot Surrounded for increased damage. Learn more about this Weapon's God Roll and why we recommend it here!
Rufus's Fury is another Kinetic Auto Rifle capable of high damage output and amazing ad clear with perks like Frenzy or Adrenaline Junkie. Pair this with Reconstruction in the third column to auto-reload while not firing or stowed.

Summary
The Chroma Rush is back with an updated perk pool and a new God Roll! The fast firing Rapid-Fire Frame feels great with Kinetic Tremors which adds some much-needed damage to the Kinetic Auto Rifle. Easily farm for Chroma Rush in Episode: Revenant Activities like Onslaught: Salvation. This Auto Rifle is one of my favorites for any PvE activity.
