Introduction

The Chaos build heavily focuses on large Area of Effect (AoE) skills with low Cooldowns to clear the content as fast as possible. This content isn't difficult and can easily be completed by spamming skills.

The Combat Stats are not as important as they are for PvP or Raid builds. Simply use the recommended Raid gear and Combat Stat distribution from the Scrapper Raid Guide.

Chaos Dungeon Skill Build

  • Charging Blow is a movement skill that helps with grouping up monsters.
  • Fierce Tiger Strike debuffs opponents with a 6% damage increase with Amplified Damage tripod.
  • Chain of Resonance pulls monsters in tight groups while providing a buff to damage.
  • Earthquake Chain does high damage against large groups of Monsters & Elites.
  • Battering Fists is excellent for dealing high damage to Elites and Bosses.
  • Continuous Push lets you push monsters around, great for when everything is grouped up.
  • Dragon Advent despite being a movement skill, it does massive damage.
  • Chain Destruction Fist is used for grouping monsters.

Gameplay

Chaos Dungeon is fairly easy to complete. A simplified rotation is used:

  1. Use Chain of Resonance to increase your attack power thanks to Rugged Chain. Then proceed to do your high AoE damage skills.
  2. Use Earthquake Chain, Continuous Push or Dragon Advent to deal with packs of Monsters and Elites. Reserve Battering Fists purely for Elites and Bosses.
  3. Use Chain Destruction Fist to pull monsters together and always Spacebar cancel out of it near the end of its animation to prevent them from being knocked up from its final hit.
  4. You don't have to be conservative with your Awakening skill usage in Chaos Dungeons since the Cooldown Refresh and Reduction buffs from killing Elites, Bosses and Rift Cores work on Awakening skills as well.
  5. Killing Elites and Bosses grants a 40-100% Cooldown Refresh while breaking Rift Cores grants 40% Cooldown Reduction buff.

Check out the Chaos Dungeon Guide for more information.

Combat Stats

Sub-stat priority is not important, as the content is easy as long as the player is using matching Tier Gear and accessories. Crit and Swiftness stats are ideal, but are not necessary if you don't have the correct sets of accessories.

Runes

Runes enhance Skills with extra bonuses. All Rune drops are account bound and have limited availability, placement of Runes on the correct Skills is important. Below are the recommend parings. Check the Rune Guide for more details.

Video Guide

Summary

  • Buff yourself with Chain of Resonance and follow up with either Earthquake Chain or Dragon Advent.
  • Killing Elites, Bosses and breaking Rift Cores grant a Cooldown Reduction buff or Cooldown Refresh for all skills.
  • Always Spacebar cancel out of Chain Destruction Fist near the end of its animation to prevent monsters from being knocked up everywhere from its final hit.
  • Use your Awakening skill when Elites are close together so the Cooldown can be quickly refreshed for repeated use. Killing Bosses refreshes Cooldowns completely as well so you don't have to be too conservative with Awakening skill usage.
