Soulfist Chaos Dungeon Build Guide

Introduction

The Chaos build heavily focuses on large Area of Effect (AoE) skills with low Cooldowns to clear the content as fast as possible. This content isn't difficult and can easily be completed by spamming skills.

Disclaimer: This build recommendation is only for the early Tiers. As soon as you have the Relic Legion Raid sets, you can use your raid build and the Betrayal Set to clear Chaos Dungeons comfortably.

The Combat Stats are not as important as they are for PvP or Raid builds. Simply use the recommended Raid gear and Combat Stat distribution from the Robust Spirit Soulfist Raid Guide or Energy Overflow Soulfist Raid Guide.

Chaos Dungeon Skill Build

  • Use Flash Step as a mobility skill to dodge or to reduce travel time.
  • Crippling Barrier and Illusion Strike are your main Damage skills.
  • Use your Awakening Skill World Decimation or Decimation Ray in combination with Level 3 Hype of your Identity Skill against Bosses to nuke them down.

Gameplay

Chaos Dungeon is fairly easy to complete. A simplified rotation is used:

  1. Use your main damage skills Illusion Strike, Crippling Barrier and on Cooldown.
  2. If your main damage skills are on Cooldown, move away from the mob groups and use Celestial Palm, Force Orb, Energy Blast or Tempest Blast.

Transition to the next level of your Identity Skill shortly before the current level's buff wears off. This allows you to have the highest uptime on the Identity Skill buff. The only exception should be shortly before you use your Awakening Skill World Decimation or Decimation Ray, make sure to transition into Level 3 Hype before you do so.

Check out the Chaos Dungeon Guide for more information.

Combat Stats

Sub-stat priority is not important, as the content is easy as long as the player is using matching Tier Gear and accessories. Swiftness and Crit stats help with speed clearing, but is not necessary if you don't have separate sets of accessories.

Summary

  • Manually transition to the higher Identity Skill levels Hype, Level 2 Hype and Level 3 Hype shortly before the buff wears off. (If you use Energy Overflow.)
  • Killing Elites, Bosses and breaking Rift Cores grant a 40% Cooldown Reduction buff.
