Introduction

The Sharpshooter is Lost Ark's traditional archer class. He summons his faithful bird companion to assist him in battle. With an arsenal of high-tech equipment, he has tools ready for any situation.

In PvP, the Sharpshooter plays more like a hit-and-run assassin. His meta-defining build plays off his Stealth. With his Stealth, he can serve as a ranged initiator and a huge nuisance to their backline. His damage is quite high and is an excellent choice for someone looking to play as a ranged assassin. With proper positioning and good aim, this class can be devastating in battle.

This article assumes you have a Character with a minimum level of 26 before transitioning to it. Check out the Sharpshooter Leveling and 1-50 Leveling guides to reach Level 26.

Check out the General PvP Guide for a better understanding of the arena systems in place.

Team Deathmatch (3v3)
Team Elimination (1v1)
GvG

Combat Stats

750 Swiftness, 250 Critical

Standard

No Stealth

Alternatives

  • Camouflage can be taken on Charged Shot. You can use this variant of Charged Shot as well for a bit more damage.
  • Deadly Slash can be taken over Salvo.

Basic Combo #1

  1. Start with Moving Slash or Claymore Mine.
  2. Follow up with Blade Storm.
  3. Finish with Charged Shot or Snipe if they don't have Stand Up.
  4. You can use Atomic Arrow if it's safe.

Basic Combo #2

  1. Start with Moving Slash or Claymore Mine.
  2. Follow up with Blade Storm.
  3. Finish with Snipe.

Gameplay

  • Use a hit and run playstyle; coordinate engagements with your team and back out after using your skills. Be mindful of your teammates and enemy positions.
  • Start the match off with Salvo after the gates fall. Go into the middle of the map and start charging Charged Shot before your stealth runs out. You should be able to get a free pick. Continue to use this combo from the outskirts of the map.
  • Engage with Moving Slash to start your combos, preferable during stealth to catch opponents off guard.
  • Escape with Moving Slash, Stalker, or Claymore Mine when in danger.
  • Snipe is an RNG damage skill that can deal half of your opponents HP if it Crits. Don't be afraid to use it when you aren't pressured.
  • Summon Silverhawk is your identity skill that periodically attacks opponents. It provides movement speed and two additional skills while summoned. Wings of Storm is an Area of Effect damage skill. Last Rush is a highly damaging skill that grants Push Immunity and knocks down enemies. Using Last Rush depletes all your Identity Gauge and despawns the hawk. Last Rush is best used for safety or just for extra damage on downed opponents.
  • Golden Eye is your Awakening that lifts opponents in the air for a brief period and grants you Stealth. Use it for protection or off an engage. If timed right, you can Snipe someone on the way down. Use this skill after Moving Slash or Claymore Mine.

Combat Stats

750 Swiftness, 250 Critical

Standard

Double Stealth

Alternatives

  • DM-42 variations can work. Builds are flexible.

Basic Combo #1

  1. Start with Moving Slash or stun with Atomic Arrow or Shadow Arrow.
  2. Follow with Charged Shot or Claymore Mine.
  3. Use Atomic Arrow or Snipe when it's safe.

Gameplay

  • In the Standard build, you have Evasive Fire and Claymore Mine for additional Push Immunity and knockdown.
  • Your goal is to either knock your opponent down or stun with Shadow Arrow to set up Snipe.
  • Try to alternate between Atomic Arrow and Shadow Arrow. Getting one of these Crowd Control off leads to big damage. Getting their Slide is very important in getting any of these Hard Crowd Controls off. Basic Attacking can sometimes bait out their Slide as well.
  • The Double Stealth build revolves around upkeeping your stealth to engage with Moving Slash. Play safe and rotate your arrows around. Your goal is to time the opponent out and just be super annoying with this build (similar to the other one).
  • Abuse your Crowd Controls and Push Immunity skills.
Heavy Armor
Keen Blunt Weapon
Spirit Absorption
All-Out Attack
Hit Master
Death Strike

Gameplay

GvG is more chaotic than Arena battles, so you rarely have the opportunity to do long combos. This mode is more about zoning/interrupting objectives and assisting allies. Do your best to coordinate with your team and stick together. Refer to 3v3 section for more gameplay tips.

Please refer to the GvG Islands and GvG Builds Guide for more information!

Summary

  • Keep your enemy and teammates within vision.
  • Play towards the outskirts of the map when looking for engagements.
  • Remember your Push Immunity skills and escapes.
  • Abuse FoV (Field of Vision) by and keeping your opponents horizontal from you.
