Introduction

The Artillerist is Lost Ark's take on a cannoneer-like class. They specialize in heavy weaponry and turn into a stationary turret to decimate opponents. Although slow, they make up for it with their big area of effect damage.

In PvP, the Artillerist is a combo-reliant class that relies on their stun to deal big damage. The combos can deal half of an opponent's HP or more if it lands. They can be kited quite easily, so positioning and landing the stun is paramount. The class is easy to get into and can abuse newer players. They place lower on the tier list when playing against better opponents, but can still deal high damage when skills hit.

This article assumes you have a Character with a minimum level of 26 before transitioning to it. Check out the Artillerist Leveling and 1-50 Leveling guides to reach Level 26.

Check out the General PvP Guide for a better understanding of the arena systems in place.
